Spent time with Coach Major working on my rowing technique, was very helpful. I feel I can row much more efficiently now. Some of the things he corrected were pushing off and through the balls of your feet, the travel distance of the seat and the path of the chain.
Just wondering if anyone out there had any specific advice or tips on rowing technique.
Thanks, Jim

Thanks for being one of the first to post!
You made awesome improvement on your Row and with your body type and continual improvement in other areas you can easily turn rowing into a great strength! In the mean time here are two more cues for you to focus on as you begin to practice your rowing.
1) At the catch, make sure your shins are straight or perfectly vertical.
2) As with Oly lifting, make sure that the seat moves in conjunction (or with/at the same time) as the chain as you move towards the finish. This will ensure optimal form and power transfer.
